Final Post
Technical Strengths
In the editing it was described as being quite smooth and fluent. The colors were over the top and not really needed. there was a mismatch in colors. In the camerawork it was described as being very good but not many different types of shots were used. nothing was blurred and the shots were framed well. they said that they also liked the close ups. in the production design it was described as the coding working well over the clips with it interperating christmas well. the title is good with good use of props and binery code. they said that they liked the banksy effect. In the sound there was a good soundtrack used. the dialogue was mumbled. the music was intense. the music fitted the show.
Technical Improvements
They said to check the music before working on the editing. there was some pointless shots. There wasnt very clear speaking, with not very good color corrections. Somebody looks at the camera. there was mostly only close ups and mid shots used. The music is a little out of sync. it would of worked better if we improved the camera focus on opening sequence.
Project Narrative and Meaning
No meaning, dosent make sense. It was directed well. Other people said that it was a good opening sequence and you get a good understanding of it.
Target Audiance
Aimed at young teenagers and familys.

what soundtrack we used
This is a song from the artists two steps from hell which I recommended to have a look at. The director and the production designer had a listen to some of the songs, and we agreed that this song was the best choice for us to use.

Script planning
Before i made the script i had to understand what makes a great script. I analysed a scene from the godfather.
Mud Map
This is a mud map of the last sequence that was shot it shows the room and the different camera positions.
Script
I worked on the script using everything I learned from narrative description to dialogue blocks to wryly. The two characters part of the script are Quentin and Fred talking about schoolwork when they bump into a mysterious folder called MuTr:IX.
the mutrix foler design
We had to reshoot the first scene, this was because alot of the camera angles were not as good as we could of made them. Another reason was because we did not have any mutirx folder with the logo top secret and the title MUTR:IX on it. Instead we just used a plain blue folder which had no relevance to Mutrix idea. After being told to reshoot the scene, I then designed a picture on photoshop which looked like a folder which was top secret. I got the background from lostandtaken.com which is a background website. I got the logo top secret from google images and played around with the colour of it to make it look more like our own design.
Reshoot
we had to re shoot our intro to the episode of Mutr:ixfor many reasons. one of the reason was that the folder was a plain blue folder so we made the folder have mutrix and top secret on top. we also had to reshoot because the dialogue wasn't clear
Storyboard
This is the storyboard for the last sequence. It shows two people talking in the student centre. They are talking about there media homework and how hard it is. After they finish they look down and see a folder on the floor saying MUTR:IX. This is when they get tipped off about the MUTR:IX conspiracy.
The story board shows different camera shot such as over the establishing shot and close ups. These give the sequence more of an effect when watching it.

what font we used
This is the font we picked as a group to use. We thought that it made the look on the title MUTR:IX have more of a conspiracy theory to it. I downloaded this font and designed the names for all the characters using this font (doc 51)

The 'SNATCH' Title Effect
To create the snatch title effect, on the timeline i put the cursor where i wanted the video clip to pause and become the credit. I used the razor blade to cut at the video clip at this point. then moved up the timeline to the remainder of the footage.
Then i imported the original character and the new character, background and text files onto premiere. then placed them into premiere and used fades and motion to create the snatch effect like in the picture to the left.

banksy effect
This is a still that was from the live action sequence when we went outside and filmed. It was then imported into premiere.
After taking a screen shot from premiere I then imported it into photoshop and played around with the colours. After trying new effects I felt that the banksy style would look the most effective while doing the snatch effect.
Rendering of footage, almost finished project
This is me rendering the opening sequence and scene 1 together before i need to add more footage to the final project. The project is 1 minute 50 at the moment, i need to put in 10 seconds of more footage to make a good enough length of a video.
